“Markakis” restaurant is located in the eastern part of Paros Island in the beautiful and picturesque port of Piso Livadi. The hospitable space combined with the wonderful traditional Cycladic meze plates, create the ideal backdrop for the visitor. In our place you can try seafood, meat and vegetable dishes of high gastronomic interest as well as dishes with special flavors and Cycladic scents. Enjoy your lunch and dinner ideally with the new list of ouzo and Greek spirits as well as the wine list where you can find Greek labels always with the view of the picturesque harbor of Piso Livadi.

Mrs. Maria Soboni who inspired and created the whole idea of ​​this meze restaurant, express her love for cooking with special culinary creations. She has been professionally involved in cooking for over 25 years and she has also attended many seminars. She proposes simple dishes, based on the Cycladic cuisine, close to the ‘’meze’’ spirit like taramosalata with white taramas, steamed mussels with Parian wine, garlic and dill or the traditional Parian sunny mackerel ”Gouna” on the grill. Influenced by the Cycladic traditional recipes, while at the same time giving her own character within them, she satisfies even the most demanding customers!

Chef’s tip :

We honor the local products and recipes of our island with dishes such as the traditional pies with aromatic herbs, spinach, chives and rice or the Parian" Gouna "(sun-dried mackerel) on the grill."
