A Few Words

Have a nice Kalokéri (means summer in Greek) in Antiparos!

The culinary team of  Kalokéri is the same as the one in Magikes Katsaroles, a very successful restaurant in Palaio Faliro-Athens, well known for its dedication to the promotion of Greek gastronomy.

The main culinary goal of Kalokéri, located on the central pedestrian street of Antiparos, is using materials from all around the Aegean, to present traditional Cycladic recipes in an innovative way.

Thus the subtitle of our restaurant: “Refined Aegean Cuisine”

Our dinner menu emphasizes in seafood and daily specials, that depend on the catch of the day from local fishermen.

In any ways a spring lamb that comes from Antiparos or Koufonissia is a really tasty delight, especially if we keep in mind that they are “pré-salé ” as the French would say - meaning that they eat and drink from pastures that come in direct contact with the Aegean sea...

The real dilemma comes when one wants to chose between a juicy spaghetti dish with fresh grouper or sturgeon and a lamb giouvetsaki with orzo pasta... tough choice indeed!

For meat lovers, things get harder, since the choice between the slow-cooked beef short ribs and a giant Tomahawk steak is really difficult !

Don't forget to enjoy your food matching a wine from the Aegean vineyards...
