A Few Words

Restaurant ''To Limani Tis Kyra Katinas'' opened in 1980 and ever sinceit opens a week before Easter and closes around the middle of October.

It is one of the most popuular restos of the island, among foreign tourists as well as Greek and local visitors.

The central location,under the oliuander trees in the picturesquealley, the unique aesthetics of the inside hall,with its walls full of paintings, the romantic roofgarden, with a view to the port  of Aegiali, the frienly atmosphere, as well as the tradition and respect to taste and quality,through the use of fresh raw materials and the excellent service, are the characteriostics of our restaurant.

We offer awide selection of breakfast with handmade marmalade and cookies, local cheese and eggs, tahini, rusks, Amorgos honey...

For lunch and dinner, the selection is even wider, patatato... the food of fiesta and joy in Amorgos (goat with potatoes), black eyed beans with spinach, horta and fenel... the perfect taste of ''cucina povera'', fava... a unique plant chick peas in the oven.., memories of childhood, Amorgos fish soup..., straight from the fishing boats fish, seafood and sea''mezedes''..., complete harmony lobsters paghetti..., for the taste lovers assortment of grilled meat..., and imaginative recipies, inmany dishes salads and starters..., all homemade, zuccini and fava balls, octopus pie..., to start with local cheese and capers…, for the salads, Cycladic wines, local retsina, traditional sweet wine..., to accompany the meal, ''psimeni''raki..., for welcome and goodbye orange pie, chocolate ''kormos'' and halvas..., to sweeten your taste buds.

And a surpise on Fridays. Thai homemade dishes, from the thai wife of one of the owners..., complementary to the Greek menu.
