The restaurant “Avli tou Samblou” is situated in Kambou Square in the heart of village Kimolos. The owner and chef Antivachis Eleftherios offers delicious dishes using ingredients from his family’s farm and garden with respect to the Kimolian gastronomic tradition. The meat, the cheese and the vegetables are all fresh and carefully chosen to create special dishes.

In a square that looks like a movie set you can enjoy the “papoudia” (dry black-eyed beans with dill and fresh onions), the cucumber salad with yoghurt and vinegar, the Samblou’s Greek salad with capers, kritamo and hamades olives, the Kimolian salad with rusk, fresh and dried tomatoes, capers and soft cheese, the zigourokeftedes (lamb meatballs), the ladenia pie with tomato and onion, the pumpkin pie, the fried manoura cheese with wild thyme, the kid cooked in a clay pot, the veal cutlets flavoured with cedar-apples and various other local dishes.

You can wash all these traditional dishes down with our family drawn from the wood Kimolian wine or you can choose one from the well selected list of Kimolian and other Greek wines.
